Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Distribution Industry, seeks to employ a Warehouse Administrator to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective warehouse policies and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure all safety and security protocols are always followed.
- Perform routine inspections of the warehouse to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Handle queries, discrepancies and investigations related to cargo movements.
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities and generate regular reports.
- Support depot and warehouse operations with general administrative duties.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and logistics systems.
- Previous warehouse experience (essential).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous WMS experience, i.e. Cargowise.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
Package & Remuneration
