Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Supply Chain Industry, seeks to appoint an experienced Driver Recruitment Coordinator to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that business standards are met across the driver supply value chain. This is done by ensuring that all drivers entering the network comply with all internal standards, through robust quality auditing and reporting on all quality assurance, as well as supporting the Driver Supply and Trust Manager.
Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the acquisition process for drivers, including onboarding and activation, aligned to the customer needs and operational requirements.
- Review and approve partner, driver, and vehicle applications to ensure all set standards are met.
- Manage the acquisition process for drivers, including sourcing, lead creation, onboarding, and activation, aligned to the customer needs and to operational requirements.
- Ensure implementation of roll-outs, new driver pools rollouts.
- Monitor and maintain drivers’ status on the system.
- Ensure driver and or partner documentation uploaded and vetted in accordance with platform requirements.
- Conduct, in conjunction with district supervisors, in-person driver vehicle audits.
- Conduct, in conjunction with district supervisors, in-person driver appearance audits.
- Complete a detailed report every week of available drivers active on the system.
- Monitor the performance and quality of services in new drivers to identify individual driver metric trends to address behavioural, systematic, or training requirements.
- Weekly report on driver recruitment to ensure driver capacity meets the business demand, which will cover the following:
- Number of drivers onboarded.
- Conversion rate.
- Time to Hire
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric (Grade 12).
- National Diploma or Tertiary qualification in HR would be advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 (Two) years’ audit and or document management experience.
- A minimum of 2 (Two) years’ experience in bulk recruitment.
- At least one year experience in customer service.
- Experience working with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
