Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the FMCG industry, has a position available for an experienced Creditors Clerk to join their dynamic team.
Applicants must reside in and around Vereeniging.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reconcile to supplier’s statement and pay to agreed terms.
- Process invoices in the correct financial period.
- Process monthly accruals.
- Maintain Accounts Payable Reports.
- Standardise and optimise accounting structures and reporting.
- Cash flow management.
- Implement and maintain financial controls.
- Cost analysis and control.
- Business performance measurement and improvement.
- Implement and adhere to international accounting practices.
- Safeguard all company financial documentation.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve) with Accountancy.
- 3 (Three) – 5 (Five) Years’ Accounts Payable experience in FMCG or financial environment.
- Bookkeeping or Accounting Certificate is advantageous.
- Experience with GP (Great Plains) financial and ERP software.
- Experienced in ALL ASPECTS of the Creditors function.
- Competent in MS Office e.g., Excel and Word.
- Financial Systems Knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, without supervision.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Willing to work overtime as and when required.
- Available to start immediately.
Package & Remuneration
R22 000 – R24 000 per month, depending on experience.
