Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Logistics Industry, seeks to employ a Front-end Loader Operator to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that materials are handled and stored in a safe and organized manner.
- Operate heavy equipment to excavate, move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel, or other materials safely.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks.
- Operate heavy equipment to move, load, and unload cargo.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate, and refill equipment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Valid certificate or license to operate front-end loader machinery.
- Proficient in operating front-end loaders to load and unload materials.
- Knowledge and capabilities of heavy equipment and machinery used in maintenance.
- Knowledge of practices and techniques applied to the safe operation of heavy equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and troubleshooting of front-end loader machinery.
- Great attention to detail.
- Must be computer literate.
