Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Logistics Industry, seeks to appoint a Mechanic to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide routine inspections of vehicles.
- Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools.
- Repair and replace faulty vehicle parts.
- Perform test drives to check repairs.
- Update vehicle service records.
- Prepare cost and time estimates for work being done.
- Install and fit new vehicle accessories.
- Assess vehicles by accurately diagnosing and repairing issues.
- Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
- Adhere to company work safety policies.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum of 2 (Two) years’ experience as a Mechanic.
- Previous working experience with Toyota vehicles (will be advantageous).
- Excellent understanding of the principles of the vehicles.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle various tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
Package & Remuneration
