
Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Warehousing and Logistics industry, seeks to appoint an experienced Site Coordinator to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management and control of the production plant so that production targets and quality standards are met or exceeded. In addition, management and control of the loading of products to ensure “In time” and “On time” performance is met. Provides direct leadership to subordinates and displays a participative management style that is focused on executing the Client’s requirements in accordance with their customers’ expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
The Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all warehousing, production, and site operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with quality standards.
Operational and Staff Management
- Allocate and manage human resources to meet production, warehousing and quality targets.
- Oversee staff leave planning, training (theoretical & practical), discipline, motivation, and succession planning.
- Manage time and attendance, including shift schedules and equipment utilisation.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and ensure service levels are met.
Production and Warehousing Control
- Plan and supervise daily production activities, including maintenance, raw material availability, blending accuracy and product movement documentation.
- Ensure correct sampling, sealing, stitching, cable tie usage and QC testing of all bag sizes.
- Oversee stock handling, stacking standards, housekeeping and execution of daily loading schedules.
- Maintain minimum stock levels for fuel, packaging materials, PPE and labels.
- Ensure sweepings, excess bags and all consumables are handled according to procedure.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with client‑specific quality procedures.
- Train staff on quality standards and monitor correct application.
- Ensure checklists, logs and documentation are completed accurately.
Safety and Compliance
- Enforce all site safety rules, PPE requirements and safety procedures.
- Ensure employees are trained before starting any task and do not violate safety rules.
- Conduct continuous safety inspections and report all incidents, defects or non‑conformities immediately.
- Monitor CCTV activities regularly and provide detailed feedback to relevant stakeholders.
Administration and Reporting
- Report daily site operations, staffing issues, production statistics and any deviations to management.
- Ensure all plant, warehousing and facility standards are maintained.
- Perform standby duties as part of the roster.
Secondary Responsibilities
- During low‑production periods, ensure all employees remain productively occupied with relevant tasks.
- Ensure all outstanding and planned work is completed safely and correctly.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- At least 2 (Two) years’ experience within a safe production and or storage-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for:
- Personnel recruitment and selection,
- Training,
- Labour relations and negotiation and
- Personnel information systems.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and costs.
- Techniques for maximizing the effective planning and distribution of goods.
Package & Remuneration
