Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Warehousing and Logistics industry, seeks to appoint an experienced System Coordinator to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate must ensure effective management and controlling of all stock and production movements.
Applicants must reside in and around the Brackenfell area.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
The System Coordinator is responsible for managing SAP system controls, ensuring accurate stock recording, coordinating inventory processes, supporting customer order scheduling, and providing administrative support to daily operational activities.
SAP and System Control
- Capture and manage all stock movements on SAP.
- Declare all received products and daily production output on the system.indgro jobs
- Process stock issues for all customer deliveries.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper record‑keeping of all product movements.
Inventory Control
- Perform daily stock movement checks and weekly and or monthly full stock counts.
- Provide timely feedback to the Site Coordinator [within 2 (Two) days] and submit reconciliations within 3 (Three) days of month‑end.
- Communicate stock movements with Site, Production and Dispatch Coordinators.
- Maintain strict inventory controls to minimise deviations and ensure accurate stock accounting.
- Process stock adjustments with prior managerial approval.
- Approve and monitor product movements between bulk storage and bagging operations.
- Prepare accurate month‑end reports for invoicing and client reporting.
Customer Order Management
- Verify all customer orders received on SAP.
- Plan and schedule orders with clients and relevant customer representatives.
- Ensure finalised loads are entered on the daily scheduling sheet.
- Communicate all scheduled orders to Site and Production Coordinators for production planning.
- Maintain accurate scheduling control and report deviations to clients before delivery.
- Send daily loading schedules to relevant personnel.
- Ensure only approved transporters are used.
Operational Support
- Provide daily assistance with operational activities, including telephone support and weighbridge functions.
- Assist fully during seasonal peak periods, including weekend work.
- Maintain minimum stock levels for required consumables as per Client requirements.
Client Relations
- Maintain professional and effective relationships with clients.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve).
- At least 3 (Three) years’ inventory management and record keeping experience.
- Computer literate.
- Acting independently from the Client system so as to record and manage the stock levels.
- Accurate scheduling of orders.
- Ensuring that the stock is accounted for and that detailed and accurate records exist of the stock being produced, received and scheduled.
- Experience on SAP.
