Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Retail industry, is seeking to appoint a Junior Admin Manager to manage the daily administrative and finance functions of the store, ensuring the organisation’s activities run smoothly and efficiently by managing the support services. The ideal candidate will have completed an internship or training programme.
Applicants must reside in and around Phoenix, Durban.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing team members and ensuring team success by providing support and coaching.
- Drafting of monthly management accounts and trial balance.
- Preparing cash flow projections daily.
- Advising the management team regarding stock holding and store performance.
- Completing the management of Creditor and Debtor accounts.
- Bank reconciliations and investigation of discrepancies.
- Maintening of the store’s asset register.
- Reviewing hours and payroll.
- Ensuring operations adhere to policies and regulations.
- Keeping abreast with all organizational changes and business developments.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- B Com (Accounting) Degree.
- 1 (One) – 2 (Two) years’ experience in a finance position.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of accounting principles and cycles.
- Attention to detail.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferably someone who has completed a finance internship or training programme.
Additional requirements:
- Candidate must be from the area or willing to travel to the store in Central Durban.
Package & Remuneration
R18 000 – R20 000 TCOE, depending on quilifications and experience.
