Introduction
One of our Clients, a leader in the Bakery Product Manufacturing industry, is seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their dynamic team in Pretoria, Gauteng. Applicants must reside in and around the Pretoria area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assume overall responsibility of the Client site including all KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) relating to TES (Temporary Employment Services).
- Supervision of all Operational staffing requirements in conjunction with the Client in order to design and establish optimum work efficiency of the contracted site to ensure that the operation is managed correctly, efficiently and to the quality level of standard as required by the Client. This includes the achievement of business efficiencies to ensure maximum profitability of both Indgro Outsourcing (PTY) Ltd Trading as Indgro Multi Services Group™ (the Company) and the Client, as well as the management of Operational Temporary and or Contract Employees (Assignees) and permanent Employees, amounts other but not limited to Contract Supervisor(s) to ensure Policies, Procedures, SLA (Service Level Agreement) and legislative requirements are always met.
- The Site Management Function is responsible to ensure that the site operates in accordance with the Terms and Conditions as indicated in the Company Commercial Agreement, and SLA, specifically in terms of the management of Temporary and or Contract Employees (Assignees), relating to disciplinary matters, payroll, health and safety, and service delivery which incorporates the CSI (Client Satisfaction Index).
- In addition to the above the Site Manager must ensure that the operational efficiency of each site is balanced with performance standards and financial objectives to be achieved.
- Operationally based experience as a Site Manager encompassing time and attendance and labour relations.
- In conjunction with the Client: scheduling of shift arrangements, man-plan, production objectives, optimum machine utilization, handling of raw material, stock control of packing material, measuring of rejects, returns, down time on machines, scheduling of plan and preventative maintenance, meeting of quality control standards, daily production reports, payroll, health and safety management, successful Client interaction and building of relationships with key role-players including Temporary and or Contract Employees (Assignees), including Permanent Employees.
- Management of Client accounts to ensure the profitability of the Company in line with the Costing Sheet developed and agreed to with the Client. This includes having a sound financial understanding of the Costings as well as the repercussions of mismanagement of accounts.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric (Grade 12) Certificate.
- Code 8 driver’s license with reliable transport.
- Client Service Management training.
- Diploma in Basic Labour Relations training.
- In-depth knowledge of TES industry legislation, developed through 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience.
- Highly skilled in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
- Advantage: Experience in CCMA matters.
- Careful attention to detail plays a vital role.
